Wakefield and District Housing is looking to place people on their Apprenticeship Programme to train in various posts from August 2011. This year they are offering apprenticeships in:

•Plastering
The training will take between three and four years depending on the trade chosen.

Morrisons
In addition to the Sponsored Manufacturing Degree Programme, Morrison’s have launched a new programme called the Morrisons Group Wide Sponsored Degree Programme. This new programme gives students a chance to understand and experience all the different divisions of the company covering Buying, Manufacturing, Logistics and Retail Management. As before, they will still work towards a degree which is built into their work/training schedule throughout the 36 months. All course/tuition fees will be met by Morrisons.
