Students meet with their Progress Tutor once a week, alongside other members of their tutor group in their timetabled Tutorial session. They can of course have additional one-to-one conversations with them at times that are convenient to the individual student. Tutorial sessions held once a week give students the chance to meet other learners beyond those doing the same subjects as them as well as giving them the opportunity to explore a range of social and careers related issues. In offering this we hope that we can continue to help students grow as a person and prepare them for life after college, whether that be work, training or university. It is part of the Colleges’ expectation of students that they attend this session.
