After a tough competition between the outstanding candidates NEW College has decided upon its new president of the Student Executive for Sept 2010. James Littlewood (former King’s High School student) closely followed by vice, Stuart Nurse (former Brayton College student).  The competition was tough from the onset with James Littlewood and Stuart Nurse both wowing the crowd with their speeches and their answers at the President’s question time. This is where candidates have to present to the students how they will make a difference and get students voices heard.  Jon Skelton (Head of Government & Politics/Personal Tutor) said it was one of the fiercest competitions he had seen in many years from all of the nine candidates. The Student Executive of 09-10 wishes James Littlewood and Stuart Nurse the best of luck for the year ahead.
