NEW College is very much the student’s college, hence our mission statement ‘We achieve excellence by putting our students first’.

Students have the opportunity to involve themselves with the NEW College Student Assembly (NCSA), which represents the students of NEW College.  Additionally, representatives from each tutor group meet to put forward ideas on how to continually develop the College and improve the students overall experience.

The elected Student Executive President and Vice President sit on the College governing body and attend meetings.  He/she also speaks at college functions such as Open Evenings and Presentation Evening.
