The first 30 hours of every week should be dedicated to sixth form work eg 18 hours taught and 12-16 hours of homework and private study.
It is essential that students organise themselves (with the help of their Progress Tutor) and plan their work accordingly.
It is strongly recommended that students spend a large proportion of their time (whilst not in lessons) working independently in either the Library or subject areas. This should also be completed by working at home or an evening. This could be set homework/coursework or simply reading over notes taken in the day.
