Pontefract Titans are set for the Student Rugby League National Cup Final after their winning streak saw them beat St Mary’s College, Hull, in a stunning semi-final last week.

The final, on Wednesday 29th April at 2pm, will be hosted at the Big Fellas stadium, the home of Featherstone Rovers.

The NEW College Rugby League team completed the semi-final with an 88-0 victory over St Mary’s College in Hull, following wins over Leigh and Wigan.

Andy Petch, sports teacher and Titans team manager, said: “I am delighted with the performance of the team and their success so far. We are especially excited for the finals now. The team has deserved to get this far with all the hard work and effort they have put in. It should be a good final.”
