Dear students,

My name is Leon Riley and I am responsible for teaching and learning at NEW College.  My aim is to make your learning journey as enjoyable and stimulating as possible.  The College wants you to achieve your potential and that is why its dedicated team of teachers will support and stretch you.  NEW College has a philosophy of inclusive learning and it will support your learning needs.

You will find an excellent learning environment that will enhance and support your learning.  The College is committed to using 21st century technology in your learning journey.  There are a number of dedicated IT suites, use of mobile technologies and the ability to access college resources and support 24 hours of the day. 

At NEW College there is a team of teachers that specialises in 16-19 education.  It has subject specialists; many with relevant workplace or exam board experience.  They will help you in your transition from school to college life.  Some of you may be worried about coping with the demands of college.  Don’t worry; you have already developed a range of skills at school that will help you succeed in the learning journey.  The skills you need will be further developed and enhanced as you learn.
