Annually, NEW College the Student executive and teacher John Skelton organise a week full of fun events to raise money for charity (Comic Relief).This year was definitely no exception as the College raised just short of £4000. Events included:

Monday – Student and teacher X Factor competition
Tuesday – Music Quiz (Involving 100 teams of 5)
Wednesday – Bounce for charity – students had to pay to go on a hired bouncy castle
Thursday – Fancy dress or wear red day – staff and students
Friday – X Factor final, music quiz results, head shaving of teacher Santosh Ghosh and bucket collecting in Pontefract town centre by staff and students.

Overall it was a fantastic week where the close knit community of the College was clearly on show with staff and students all pulling together for a very good cause.
